(Ulmaceae) and <em>Diptilomiopus cordifoliae </em><strong>sp. nov.</strong> from <em>Haldina cordifolia </em>(Roxb.) (Rubiaceae) were described and illustrated from New Alluvial Zone of West Bengal, India. The two new mite species were found to be vagrant on under surface of the leaves without causing visible damage symptoms.
