A new gall-forming Aceriini mite, Aceria sadeghiisp. nov., was discovered and described in the Razavi Khorasan Province of Iran. It caused distortion on the upper side of the leaves without hypertrichosis on leaves of Krascheninnikovia ceratoides (L.) Güldenstädt (Amaranthaceae). This is the second eriophyoid species found on this host plant genus.
