Abstract
A new species of the genus Pteridopus Newell & Vercammen-Grandjean, P. bonjarensis Haddadi & Noei sp. nov., from Zabol and Bonjar counties, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran is described and illustrated. It represents the fifth known larval species of this genus worldwide and the third recorded from Iran. An updated key to the world species of the genus is also presented.
